Role Overview:

We are seeking an Offshore Technical Support Specialist to join our Operations department. This role is essential in providing and delivering exceptional customer service across H2O’s various product lines. The ideal candidate will manage support tickets, troubleshoot product issues, and collaborate with teams to enhance customer satisfaction and contribute to product development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and resolve support tickets promptly.
  • Provide technical support for H2O’s water treatment products and services, including electrochlorination, bilge water treatment, seawater reverse osmosis and marine sewage treatment systems.
  • Handle ticket management and escalations.
  • Leverage the product knowledge base for efficient service.
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts when required
  • Share product field performance internally with goal of improving customer satisfaction and contributing to product development.
  • Develop and manage the Help Desk in our ERP system.
  • Manage the warranty system and develop a data matrix for issue reviews and fixes.
  • Build and manage the network of field service technicians to ensure timely and efficient deployments when service work is necessary.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand H2O’s technical products.
  • Strong knowledge of offshore certifications: TWIC, OSHA, THUET, BOSEIT, and HUET.
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years of related work experience.
  • Technical support experience in the Offshore Oil & Gas industry is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with electrical circuits, control systems, and diagnostic tools is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $85,000.

Work Environment:

  • This is an on-site position located at our headquarters in Lafayette, Louisiana.
  • Currently, there are no travel requirements, but occasional travel may be needed in the future.
