The Role:

As a Process Engineer at H2O, you'll play a pivotal role in the technical design and development of our H2O product lines. You'll be responsible for ensuring that our products not only meet but exceed customer specifications. This is a challenging and exciting role for engineers who thrive on innovation and excellence, especially within the Oil & Gas industry.

What You'll Do:

Technical Design & Development:

  • Complete process sizing calculations for all H2O products.
  • Meticulously review client mechanical and process specifications, highlighting our capabilities and crafting exceptions and clarifications lists per project.
  • Generate Product Requirement Review Forms (PRR) to define the scope of supply.
  • Craft technical proposal documents for water treatment packages, ensuring they surpass customer specifications.
  • Review customer feedback and incorporate lessons learned from previous projects with the same customer into product designs.
  • Attending internal H2O Proposal Review meetings and seamlessly integrating agreed actions into the final proposal documents.
  • Manage custom product testing and acceptance.
  • Assist in product standardization and new product development efforts when needed.

Customer Support & Technical Consultation:

  • Approve all Applications Engineer and Project Engineer documents throughout a project.
  • Join discussions on technical deviations or exceptions during project execution, ensuring customer specifications align with the required scope of supply.
  • Collaborate with the Design and I&E Teams during detailed product design, in harmony with QDM 5.04.
  • Choose material selections for all process and mechanical components, weaving your engineering magic into the PTT BOMs (both Proposal and Engineer Project).
  • Address customer inquiries and requests, both internal and external.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned through the Task Planner.

Knowledge Development:

  • Become the technical authority for all H2O product offerings.
  • Attain an expert-level understanding of all H2O core technologies.
  • Maintain an educational background in mechanical and process systems.
  • Attend and participate in H2O Global Sales Meetings and quarterly Town Hall meetings.
  • Develop company and product knowledge, understanding the features and benefits that set us apart.
  • Identify and drive improvements to the current designs of products to positively affect cost, quality, performance, ease of build, and ease of maintenance.
  • Participate in all R&D efforts, offering technical guidance for design changes and new product launches.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by maintaining awareness of the latest water technology trends in the Oil and Gas industry.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in a Process Design role (preferably in the Oil & Gas Industry), Minimum 8 years' experience generating process equipment models to include creating P&ID, PFD, and Bills of Materials.
  • Skills & Certificate(s): Expert level knowledge of P&ID drawings, expert level knowledge of developing P&IDs and PFDs, MS Office proficiency (especially use of Excel Spreadsheet), Effective at professional communication both verbal and written.
