Electrochlorination is the process of producing a non-hazardous chlorine equivalent by the electrolysis of a brine/seawater solution to form a sodium hypochlorite solution. Sodium hypochlorite is an industry-standard oxidizing agent for an extensive list of applications, from marine biofouling control to potable water disinfection.
Our scope of supply includes both concentric tube and parallel plate electrolyzer technology to form a range of systems to suit most applications. Additionally, they can also be supplied for non-hazardous and hazardous area installation.

Biofouling Consulting & Monitoring Services
H2O Biofouling Solutions B.V. offers consulting services to evaluate your industrial water system for biofouling potential and provide recommendations for optimal biocide dosing regime or Ecodosing.
Ecodosing follows the natural rhythm of biofouling organisms including mussels, oysters, and barnacles and tracks their response in biocides in order to calculate the most effective dosing method to control them. It results in a significant reduction of chemicals used in the biofouling control process.
Biofouling Monitoring Service
At H2O, we believe in measuring the results. We combine Biovision Monitor™, a proprietary biofouling detection technology, and expert analysis to provide timely and continuous assessment of the effectiveness of the applied biofouling treatment.
